As we conclude another memorable preschool year, we want to express our immense gratitude for the incredible experiences we have shared with our little ones. Recognizing and celebrating achievements at every age and milestones is of utmost importance.
Our preschool class has made tremendous progress this year, delving into various subjects and themes, even incorporating an IB unit. Our students entered the classroom without expectations, yet they have achieved numerous goals. Each child learns at their own pace, with unique milestones to accomplish. However, all children must develop emotional and social skills, enhance their motor skills, cultivate critical thinking abilities, and, above all, learn to be good friends and students.
Despite the structured school environment, our children have discovered ways to have fun while learning. The range of experiences they have been exposed to this year has been remarkable. Fortunate enough to have a forest and two lakes near our school, our main space for fun, learning, exploration, and experimentation was the forest itself.
From engaging in projects such as exploring the ground, collecting sticks, observing frog eggs, witnessing their transformation into full-grown frogs, rescuing caterpillars, and enjoying the enchanting chorus of frogs, to constructing a treehouse, these moments will be cherished forever.
We dedicated our efforts to developing skills such as prewriting, cutting, painting with watercolors and tempera, solving puzzles, understanding patterns, and counting objects. Through hands-on activities, trial and error, experiments, and patience, we were able to master these skills. The excitement in the classroom was palpable when we introduced frog eggs, watching them undergo daily transformations until we released them back into nature. The children gained a genuine understanding of insects and their vital role in our ecosystem.
Preschool is undoubtedly a joyful place where each child develops in their own time, equipped with the necessary tools to thrive and achieve future goals in life.
As we bid farewell to this year, we reflect on the wonderful memories and progress made by our little ones. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all parents and guardians for their unwavering support and trust in our preschool program. We look forward to welcoming returning students and new faces in the upcoming school year, where we will continue to foster a nurturing and enriching environment.
May the summer months bring endless joy, relaxation, and cherished moments for all!
Regards,
Ms. Dana
