After School Activities at Ljubljana International School

Dear Parents,
We are excited to share the weekly schedule for After School Activities at our Ljubljana International School Rakovniška Campus for the first part of the new school year.
- The Activities will start from September 9th 2024.
- From August 26th until September 6th 2024, we will be offering only Day Care from 14:30-17:00 16 euro/day.
- This is a provisional timetable for Afterschool Activities and may be subject to minor changes if necessary.
- Day Care services will start after the Afterschool Activities clubs have concluded. Please note that students must join the Afterschool Activities before they can access Day Care services.

Dance Club
The Dance Club is a fun place where kids can move, jump, and dance to great music! In each session, students will stretch, hop, and spin while dancing to happy tunes. It’s all about having fun and enjoying dance.
Rollerblading Club
The Rollerblading Club is a great way for kids to get exercise and improve their overall physical fitness. It helps develop strength, balance, and coordination. Most importantly, it gives them immense joy when they achieve a new skill. It helps them become more independent and patient with themselves and their friends. The beginner course will be appropriate for those who will be stepping on rollerblades for the first time.
The course will be in 8 sessions once a week.
Equipment rent:
- Rollerblades: 15 EUR / month
- Protective pads: 10 EUR / month
Sports Club
The Sports Club is a fun place for Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 students to enjoy games and activities! Kids will run, jump, throw, and kick while learning new sports and having a great time with their teammates. It’s all about playing favorite games, discovering new activities, and staying active.
Theater Club
Theater Club is a fun place for Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 students to shine on stage! Kids will act out stories, create exciting characters, and put on fun performances. It’s all about using creativity, making new friends, and enjoying bringing stories to life.
Basic Robotics
The Robotics Club for Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, led by Zavod 1-2-3, a team of experts, is a fun way for Preschool kids to learn how machines work. Kids use special cubes with parts like gears and belts to build simple machines, developing teamwork and problem-solving skills. The LEGO® SIMPLE MECHANISMS program introduces them to technology, engineering, and math using DUPLO cubes at first, and later TEHNIC cubes.
Zumbini
The Zumbini Club is a fun place for Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 students to dance, sing, and play together! Kids will move to lively music, explore rhythms and dance, and enjoy creative activities. It’s all about having fun, making new friends, and staying active. So, bring your energy and smiles—let’s dance, sing, and play at the Zumbini Club!
Building Club
The Building Club is a fun place for kids to create and build with different materials like LEGO, cubes, paper, and sticks. Preschool Students will use their imagination to build all kinds of exciting things and learn about designing and constructing. It’s a great way to be creative, solve problems, and have fun while building with friends.
Care
During After School Care, all students will have time to play games, draw, or watch their favorite cartoons while they wait to be picked up by their parents. It’s a fun and safe place to relax and enjoy different activities with friends.
