As we bid farewell to yet another remarkable year filled with musical growth, I want to take the opportunity to express my gratitude to all students for the learning journey that we have been on together, and for all the music that you have shared in our facilities from early mornings until evenings. I also want to congratulate you and thank you for all the performances that you have shared with us this year, The Winter Show, The International Fair, The end of the year show, The singing students concert and the School Rock band performance, you have made your music teacher very proud!
It has been wonderful to support each one of you on the path from learning the fundamentals of rhythm and melody to harmonizing as an ensemble, your transformation has been magnificent.
As we look ahead to the upcoming school year with exciting changes of facilities and a magnificent growth of students as we also walk into IB learning, I am thrilled to announce that our music department will expand too. We are in the process of developing a music school in addition to the music education at LIS, and will be offering individual lessons in singing, piano, guitar, bass and drums that will be held after school as a private music education. This expansion aims to provide students with personalized attention and guidance, enabling them to explore their musical interests further and develop their skills on chosen instruments to new heights.
