Julia Larsen graduated from University of Northern Colorado where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in English as a Second Language. She received her Master’s Degree from Regis University in Curriculum and Instruction. Before moving to Slovenia, she taught kindergarten and first grade in Colorado and Guam.
Julia believes children are natural inquiry-based learners and thrive in an environment where they can be hands-on learners and explorers. Her goal is to create a nurturing and safe environment where students can explore, create, and challenge themselves.
In her free time, she is the taxi driver of her three children and loves to travel, hike, run, and be outdoors.
